What he's saying is that you would be best using a warrior elite skill, such as the very powerful eviscerate.

Also, as a W/Ele you must have [skill]Conjure Flame[/skill]or [skill]Conjure Lightning[/skill]or [skill]Conjure Frost[/skill] on your bar.

Have fun with it, and stick with the warrior's elites.

star burst warriors are a joke players have been telling for awhile. anything that tells you a star burst warrior is a good build is either an idiot or joking.

Sounds like your new to playing a warrior so first thing, read the stickies.
Ok, now then, don't worry about choosing a secondary. As a matter of fact the first couple times you play DON'T USE A SECONDARY AT ALL. Get used to the skills a warrior has himself.
The secondary usually adds very little directly to a warrior, usually just supports his attacks. /E use shock for a snare/interupt, /A hammer warriors use Death Charge for telespikes for example.
Use just warrior skills at first and you will intuitively begin to see skills from other lines that would help you.

Basically you need to look at your secondary as a means to add to or supliment a good warrior build rather than to build around any single secondary skill.

As for Star Burst while the numbers look good at first glance it actually deals less dmg than Triple Chop(both skills are elite Factions skills).

Well the people above have given good advice. But I know where you're coming from when you say you want to have fun, brah. I started out W/E too, and loved using firestorm--10 seconds of stuff falling from the sky! But even I had to stay away from using elementalist elites, you don't have enough energy you'll find.

So yeah, the others' advice will hit you eventually. But early in the game is forgiving, to people trying non-optimal things.

If for some reason you wanted to go E/W with an axe I see star burst as a viable elite skill. Might be fun for a change from MB + RI spam.

Good build w/o the "must have" conjure.
Another common variant of the shock axe build has conjure lightning in it buddy...
And I assumed he was talking mostly about PvE right now, and for that you do want a conjure.

IHMO, for PvE, you really don't want to go shock/conjure - it's more of a PvP setup. For PvP, I would suggest that any one the numerous sword or axe builds in the warrior section here or PvXwiki would be more effective.

Also, PvE generally requires some sort of skill at pulling (generally with a warrior).

Actually, it's not very 'common' at all.
Taking Conjure means you lose another, better skill that does a lot more for you than a damage buff. Of all shockaxe variants, a Conjure guy is the guy I fear the least because he's not doing anything much useful on the side, and SB owns his soul.

Conjure auto-attacks will make you do 60+ damage, thus triggering prot spirit and/or spirit bond. May be better to leave your crits @59 =)

As for OP: Warriors got the best damage from all professions. If you want to keep that damage high, don't use star burst =)
